¨Give me some sidewalk space, please.¨ This is what I ask, in my mined, of this girl I´ve been hanging out with. Damn, she crowds my space, man. I think I will go to
Bosque El
Imposible by myself tomorrow instead of hanging out with her for longer. She is nice enough, but kind of stressful to be around. Its cool because I can practice my Spanish with her, but not cool because I cant speak anything but Spanish with her. She is French and doesn't speak much English. So, its tiring to be with her. I am constantly being bombarded with something. Watched the Salvadorean
futbol team lose to Costa Rica last night at a bar.
Hmm. I have seen 3 games here in central America, and each time, the team of the country which I am in loses. I want to be somewhere where the team wins so I can see the people go crazy in the streets!!!! The got really excited when El Salvador scored a goal, so I can only imagine what it would be like if they won a game.
I am supposed to be going down to Nicaragua to work on this farm soon, but I´m gonna hang out for a few more days in El Salvador I think. It is expensive here. Or, well, at least it has been for me. I´ve been going out a fair amount and stuff. Went on a couple dates with a girl from San Salvador, so spent some money at the bars and whatnot. Had breakfast at a gas station this morning. They use dollar bills here. Its weird for sure. I think I feel like I´m not spending that much money because maybe I think I'm in the US or something with the dollar bills, so I end up spending a lot of money, for down here at least. Ya know? Or maybe I didn't get that idea across to you. It may be the case. Hey, I ain't
goin back to try and clarify or elaborate on it,
ok? Just read the
sentance again and try to get a feeling for what I was trying to say. Put yourself in my head, swim around fro a while. I will throw you a life preserver in a second when I get back.
